sorry im trash for not updating bt instead posting these sketches

asyraf didn't mention his full name, but his name is muhammad asyraf (محمد اشرف) bin muhammad ridhwan (محمد رضوان). 'bin' is from the arabic word 'ibn' which means son of. malays don't have the family name thing.

initially, i wanted to name him as one of the influential islamic scholars, as-syafi'e, but it was too uncommon and since my family all have weird names, it was kinda really hard to even find a common name cos lord knows if i have a lot of guy friends. anyways, whilst chatting with a friend, i asked her about any male malay name tht starts with asy and she casually went asyraf. i felt like an idiot for not thinking of it first. thanks aly!

i really like his name, muhammad means 'the most praised'- which even though is the most common name now, it was actually very unique during the prophet mohammad's time (i just think tht fact is cool, indulge me)- and asyraf means 'the most honourable one'. i didn't think i would like it as much, but i'm really glad to have never went with asy-syafi'e (no offense to the scholar, i think he's a hardworking man, bt hey-)

anyways, thanks for reading this ramble
